Clint and Colt

I recon that no true western fan has any doubts that Clint Eastwood is the No 1 "good guy" face of the 60's and the 70's. I can't even see anybody else coming nowhere near to jeopardise Clint's throne. Said that, there's no wonder his lookalikes appeared in western and detective comics all over the world.
Several years ago, I stumbled upon a very interesting comic in a bookstore in Amsterdam. That was the time bookstores were still relatively abundant and weren't replaced by the multimedia shops or fast food restaurants. The cover and the pages I flipped through were all featuring a well known Clint's face. Intrigued, I bought the book.
The comic book album was titled Gila - Colt by Walker, by Franco-Belgian artist Fabrice Lamy. A fan of the spaghetti western genre, he created 'Colt Walker' with Yann at Dargaud between 1997 and 2001. The artwork is rather expressive and dynamic and coloured, perhaps a bit too intensely for my taste. However, the comic has a nice flow and the plot is interesting enough. The problem was that the book was only the first part of the comic, and with a cliff hanger, of course. I acquired the second part somewhat later. Here are the three cover versions for the Gila part 1, and a cover for Gila part 2:
